Complete Infrared Dry-Fire Training Setup

The Infra Range Complete Starter Kit brings together the primary hardware needed to create an interactive infrared dry-fire training system using a compatible smartphone.

Instead of purchasing components separately and trying to determine whether they are suitable for the system, this kit provides the core equipment needed to display Infra Range, position your phone, filter the camera image, and begin using compatible infrared training equipment.

How Infra Range Works

The projector displays the Infra Range training environment on the included projection screen. Your compatible smartphone runs the Infra Range app and observes the projected area through the included infrared filter system.

When a compatible infrared training laser is activated, the app detects the impact location and responds within the selected training mode.

What’s Included

Projector

A compact projector used to display Infra Range targets, training environments, and game modes on the included projection screen.

120-Inch Projection Screen

A portable projection screen that provides a large surface for targets, drills, and interactive training.

760nm IR Lens Filter

The infrared-pass filter helps reduce visible light entering the phone camera while allowing a compatible near-infrared laser signal to remain detectable by the Infra Range app.

52mm Phone Filter Clip

The clip holds the included 760nm filter over the compatible smartphone camera during calibration and gameplay.

Phone Tripod and Mount

The adjustable tripod and phone mount provide a stable position for the smartphone while the app observes the projected training area.

USB-C to HDMI Adapter Cable

The included adapter connects a compatible USB-C device to the projector.

Important: Not every USB-C smartphone supports video output. Confirm that your phone supports video output through USB-C before ordering.

Complimentary IR Starter Pistol

A basic 3D-printed infrared training pistol is included at no additional charge for system setup, testing, and basic gameplay.

The complimentary pistol is an entry-level training accessory. It is not intended to duplicate the weight, balance, construction, finish, trigger operation, or durability of a professional training firearm and does not have a separate cash value.

Phone and Video Compatibility

Phone camera placement, USB-C video-output support, operating-system requirements, and device performance vary by model.

Some phones may require a different video adapter. Customers should verify their phone’s video-output capability and connection type before ordering.

Infra Range App

The Infra Range app is available separately for compatible iOS and Android devices.

The physical kit does not include a smartphone, cellular service, internet service, App Store account, or Google Play account.

App features, operating-system requirements, and device compatibility may change through future software updates.

Setup and Performance Notes

Infrared sensitivity and overall system performance may vary depending on the smartphone model, selected camera lens, operating system, room lighting, infrared-filter placement, calibration, projector positioning, reflections, exposure behavior, and the wavelength and output of the infrared training device.

The smartphone camera preview is expected to appear dark when viewed through the infrared-pass filter. This does not necessarily indicate that the filter or camera is malfunctioning.

For best results, carefully align the filter over the camera used by Infra Range and complete the in-app calibration process before beginning training.

Flat-rate shipping: $24.95 anywhere in the contiguous United States.

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days.

After your order has shipped, carrier transit time is typically 3–7 business days, depending on your location.

A tracking number will be emailed to the address provided during checkout as soon as your shipping label has been created.

Returns and Support
