The Basic IR Training Pistol provides an affordable entry point into the Infra Range system. It is designed for setup, calibration, testing, system demonstrations, and basic dry-fire gameplay without requiring the immediate purchase of a more advanced infrared training device.

The pistol contains an approximately 780nm infrared laser designed for detection by the Infra Range mobile app when used with a compatible smartphone, infrared lens filter, projector, and properly calibrated training area.

How It Works

The Basic IR Training Pistol uses a simple push-button activation system. Pressing and holding the button activates the infrared laser. Releasing the button turns the laser off.

This model does not contain a mechanical trigger break, simulated trigger reset, recoil system, or realistic firearm controls. The laser remains active for as long as the activation button is held.

The simple activation system makes the pistol useful for:

Important Product Limitations

This is a basic 3D-printed infrared training accessory. It is not intended to duplicate the weight, balance, construction, finish, trigger operation, controls, or durability of a professional training firearm.

The activation button does not provide a realistic trigger pull, trigger break, or trigger reset. The infrared laser remains active while the button is held rather than producing a brief pulse from a traditional trigger pull.

Visible layer lines, minor surface variations, color differences, and small cosmetic inconsistencies are normal characteristics of 3D-printed products and do not necessarily indicate a defect.

This product should not be used as a substitute for professional firearms instruction, live-fire training, or a purpose-built professional training firearm.

Infra Range Compatibility

This product is intended for use with the Infra Range mobile application and compatible infrared-detection equipment.

A complete Infra Range setup normally requires:

• A compatible iPhone or Android device
• The Infra Range mobile application
• A compatible projector
• A projection screen or suitable projection surface
• A phone tripod or stable phone mount
• A compatible infrared lens filter
• A compatible phone filter clip
• A compatible video-output adapter or cable
• A safe indoor training area

Compatibility and performance may vary depending on the smartphone camera, operating system, infrared sensitivity, room lighting, filter placement, selected camera lens, calibration, projector placement, reflections, exposure behavior, and application settings.

Battery Information

The infrared laser is powered by one replaceable CR2032 3V lithium coin cell battery. Battery life will vary depending on usage and the length of time the activation button is held.

Use only the correct battery type. Install the battery in the proper orientation and keep coin cell batteries away from children and pets.

If the laser output becomes weak or inconsistent, replace the battery before troubleshooting other parts of the Infra Range setup.

Care and Handling

• Keep the product dry and store it in a clean indoor location.
• Do not expose the product to excessive heat, moisture, or direct sunlight for extended periods.
• Do not overtighten screws or attempt to disassemble the infrared laser assembly.
• Remove the battery before long-term storage.
• Inspect the housing, activation button, and battery compartment before use.

Tracking information will be provided after the order has been packed and a shipping label has been created.

Because this is a 3D-printed product, minor cosmetic differences may exist between individual units.
